It’s been a busy several months! We’ve added fabric, changed the entrance location, and changed the name of the shop! Like many of our customers, we don’t just knit and crochet. We also sew, quilt, embroider, weave – basically, we love all forms of needlework. And, like many of our customers, we couldn’t find local shops that stocked the items we wanted. The solution was to carry it ourselves!
We are a small shop, so we have been very thoughtful about our selection. We’ve added our favorite fabric lines such as Liberty, Cotton+Steel, Rifle Paper Co, Tilda, and Lecien. We also have some organic fabrics from Cloud 9. As with our yarn, these are quality items that are hard to find in this area.
We will also be offering sewing classes, and we are now an authorized dealer for Janome sewing machines! Machines will begin arriving next month.
Does this mean we’ll be shifting focus away from yarn and knitting? No. We are discontinuing some brands due to supply issues, but we are continuing to add yarn lines. Two Shibui summer-weight yarns just arrived in the shop (Reed and Vine), and we will be announcing our addition for fall in September.
